School and campus maintenance requests by QR code, for every building

Put a QR label on each projector, restroom, water fountain and heating unit. A teacher, student or caretaker scans it, taps what is wrong, and the request reaches the site team tagged with the building and the room. No app, no account.

How it works today

Faults are reported in passing

A teacher mentions a broken projector in the staff room. The caretaker hears about it a week later, if at all.

Several buildings, one small team

Requests arrive by email, paper slips and corridor conversations, with no single list of what is open across the campus.

No record when budget time comes

Asking for new equipment needs a history of what failed and how often. That history is spread across inboxes.

Setting up a site

An afternoon, not a project

No register to build first. Print blank numbered labels, stick them on, then name each one by scanning it.

1

Print blanks

Pick a site and a number. They come out numbered and ready.

2

Stick them on

No decisions yet. Just get them on the equipment.

3

Scan and name

Scanning a blank label offers to set it up. Name it, save, next.

4

Live from there

Anyone who scans it can now report a problem against it.

The reports

Where repairs pile up, site by site

Raw counts only rank your sites by size. Requests per piece of equipment is the number that survives comparing a small site with a large one.

✓

Typical fix time, not the average

One job that drags on for weeks pulls the average far from a normal repair. The median shows what a typical fix really takes.

✓

What keeps coming back

Reported again within 30 days of being fixed. The number that justifies replacing it.

What you get

✓

Anyone can report in seconds

Teachers, students and staff scan and pick Out of order, Needs cleaning, Damaged, Safety issue or Something else. Up to two photos, no login.

✓

Tagged with the building and room

Each label is named for its item and placed at a location, so the request arrives knowing exactly where to go.

✓

Caretakers work from their phone

A signed-in technician scanning the same label sees that item's open requests and can mark it in progress or fixed, with a note.

✓

Reports for each building

Requests per item, median fix time, oldest open request and the items reported again within 30 days of being fixed.

Customer feedback

Feedback campaigns for schools

Ask students, parents and visitors the same question in every building.

How QR code campaigns work ›

✓

Restroom and cafeteria checks

A Satisfaction Check on restroom doors or cafeteria tables: one question, three faces, optional comment, compared by building.

✓

Open day and enquiry sign-ups

A Lead Capture form collects name, email, phone and a message from prospective students and families. Each lead emails that campus.

✓

Each campus's own pages

A Link campaign sends each campus code to its own website or social page. Change it later without reprinting.

Frequently asked questions

Do students and teachers need an account to report a problem?

No. Scanning opens a web page. Only the site team and technicians sign in.

What stops students from sending joke reports?

Repeat reports from the same label are rate limited, and staff can close a request as Not a real fault. A contact field is off unless you turn it on.

Can each campus have its own site team?

Yes. Set each team member as a technician and share only the campuses they cover.

Does it plan summer maintenance or recurring inspections?

No. There is no scheduled or preventive maintenance. It handles faults that people report.

Does it connect to our school management system?

No. There are no integrations or single sign-on. Your equipment list and report summaries download as CSV files, and you can ask for a CSV of your maintenance requests, which we email to you.

How do we label a whole campus?

Print blank numbered labels (up to 200 per batch), stick them on, then name each one by scanning it. Or import a spreadsheet of up to 500 items.

Start with one site

Label one location, run it a month, see whether the numbers tell you something you did not already know.
