Campaign use case

Get more Google reviews for every location, with one QR code each

To get more Google reviews for each location, every location needs its own review link, so the reviews land on the listing of the store that earned them. A Smart Review campaign in KudoTaps creates one QR code per location, and each code opens that location's own Google review page, or its Yelp or Tripadvisor page. Customers can leave a public review there, or send you a private message instead, and nobody is stopped from posting a public review.

The problem

Why this is hard today

One brand link for every store

A single review QR code sends every customer to one listing, so the locations that earn good reviews do not see them on their own Google profile.

Looking up every review link is slow

With dozens of locations, someone has to find each Google review link by hand and keep track of which sign carries which link.

No idea which locations are asking

Without a code per location, you cannot tell whether a site's sign is up and being scanned or sitting in a back room.

How it works

How google reviews at every location works with KudoTaps

1

Save each location's review link

Under Team & Locations, paste links in bulk from a spreadsheet. Pick the type (Google review page, Yelp or Tripadvisor), then paste two columns: location and link. Location names must match yours exactly.

2

Or let us find the Google links

For Google, we search for each location using your business name and the location's address, show you the matches, and you tick the right ones before anything is saved.

3

Create one Smart Review campaign

Pick Smart Review (Google), Smart Review (Yelp) or Smart Review (Tripadvisor), then your locations, up to 500 in a run. Each location gets its own QR code that opens its own saved page. A shared link is optional, as a fallback for locations without one.

4

Put up the posters and check the results

Posters are generated for each location with its own code and can be emailed to each location's address. The campaign page shows scans per location, and the full Smart Review report is in Reports, filtered to the campaign.

What you get

What you get

✓

Each location's own review page

Every code opens the listing for the location it hangs in, so reviews go to the store that earned them.

✓

Google, Yelp or Tripadvisor

Three Smart Review campaign types. A restaurant or hotel group can run a Tripadvisor campaign alongside a Google one.

✓

A private option alongside the public one

Customers can leave a public review, or send you a private message instead. Nobody is stopped from posting a public review. A private message gives you a chance to fix the problem.

✓

Bulk link paste and a Google link finder

Paste a spreadsheet of links in one go, or have us search Google for each location's listing and tick the matches that are right.

✓

Scans per location

The campaign page shows scans for each location, so a site whose poster never went up stands out.

✓

The full Smart Review report

In Reports, filter to the campaign to see ratings, average stars, how many customers went on to the review site, and private messages.

Frequently asked questions

What happens to a location with no review link saved?

It is skipped, and the campaign tells you which locations were skipped. Add their links under Team & Locations, then use "Add the missing locations" on the campaign to give them codes. Or set a shared link when you create the campaign, as a fallback for locations without their own.

Does this stop unhappy customers from leaving a public review?

No. The public review option is always there, and nobody is stopped from using it. The private message option is there for customers who would rather tell you directly, so you get a chance to fix the problem.

Can KudoTaps find our Google review links automatically?

It can search for them. We search Google for each location using your business name and the location's address, show you what we found, and you tick the right matches before saving. Check each one, since a search can find the wrong listing. Yelp and Tripadvisor links are pasted, not searched.

Can we see the reviews themselves in KudoTaps?

The report shows the ratings customers gave, how many went on to the review site, and the private messages. Reviews posted on Google, Yelp or Tripadvisor are read and answered on those sites.

Is this the same as the Smart Review stand?

It is the same Smart Review flow. The stand is a countertop display customers tap or scan; a Smart Review campaign gives every location its own printed QR code from one setup. You can use both.

What does it cost?

Smart Review campaigns are included in the Marketing plan at $29 per location per month, with unlimited QR codes and users. Your first paid plan has a 14-day free trial.
