Campaign use case

A customer satisfaction survey for multiple locations, in one tap

The simplest customer satisfaction survey that works across many locations is one question with three answers, on a QR code at each site. KudoTaps gives every location its own code for the same question, so customers answer in a second and you get a positive rate for each location you can compare fairly.

At a glance

  • Plan: Marketing plan, $29 per location per month
  • Trial: 14 days free on your first paid plan
  • Respondents: Customers scan with their phone camera. No app, no account.
  • Results: Reported per location, so sites can be compared fairly
  • Users: Unlimited QR codes and users
The problem

Why this is hard today

Long surveys do not get finished

A ten-question survey sent by email days later gets a handful of replies, mostly from people who were very happy or very angry.

Results arrive as one blended number

A company-wide score of 82 hides the location sitting at 60. You need the answer split by site to know where to act.

Every location words it differently

When each store makes its own feedback card, you cannot compare them. Same question, same wording, everywhere, is the only fair test.

How it works

How customer satisfaction surveys works with KudoTaps

1

Write one clear question

Up to 120 characters. Ask about one thing the location controls: "How was your service today?" or "Did you find what you needed?". The location name is shown under the question automatically.

2

Create codes for every location at once

Pick your locations and the campaign makes one code for each, up to 500 in a run. Add new locations later by running it again; only the missing ones are added.

3

Place the code at the end of the visit

Checkout counter, table tent, receipt holder, exit door. Customers scan with their camera, tap a face, and can add a comment.

4

Read the report by location

See total responses, the share of scans that answered and the positive rate, then a table of every location's good, okay and poor counts, lowest positive rate first.

What you get

What you get

✓

Three faces, no form

Happy, neutral or sad. The vote is saved on the tap, so you do not lose answers from people who skip the comment.

✓

Positive rate per location

The report shows the positive rate and the good, okay and poor counts for every location, over 30 days, 90 days or all time.

✓

Response rate you can trust

See what share of scans turned into an answer, so you know whether the question is clear or the code is in the wrong spot.

✓

Comments in one inbox

Comments from every location land in one inbox you can filter, next to leads and complaints.

✓

Export and print

Download the results as CSV for your own analysis, or print the report for a meeting.

✓

Your branding on posters

Generate posters with your colors, logo, headline and subtitle, or upload your own design.

Frequently asked questions

Can I ask more than one question?

Not in one Satisfaction Check. It is deliberately one question with three faces and an optional comment. If you need a second question, run a second campaign with its own codes, but expect fewer answers the more you ask.

Is this the same as CSAT?

It works the same way: customers rate one interaction and you report the share who were happy. Here it is a three-point scale (happy, neutral, sad), and the report calls the share of happy answers the positive rate.

Do customers need to download anything?

No. They point the phone camera at the code and a web page opens. It works on iPhone and Android with no app and no account.

Can I change the question later?

Yes. Edit it once and every code in the campaign shows the new question. Nothing needs reprinting. Note that answers to the old and new wording will sit in the same report.

Can I see where each scan came from?

Each scan records the country, city and device type, and every answer is tied to the location whose code was scanned.

How much does it cost?

The Marketing plan is $29 per location per month, with unlimited QR codes and users, and a 14-day free trial on your first paid plan.
